About changes in the study process

In view of the global situation caused by Covid-19 and the potential risks in Latvia, an emergency situation is announced in the country from 12 March to 14 April.

In order to limit the spread of the virus, a number of precautions will be taken during this period, incl. distance learning in all schools will be introduced from 13 March.

In addition, trainings, competitions and rehearsals held within the framework of cultural, sports and interest- related education programmes have to be discontinued during the period of emergency situation.

In order to attend pre-school educational institutions, parents have to submit a written statement to the institution on 13 March that the child and family have not visited the countries affected by Covid-19 and have not been in contact with Covid-19 affected persons. This statement should also include information that parents do not have any other possibility of providing childcare.

The 5th grade pupil Marija Aleksa Muižzemniece was awarded the 2nd prize at the XXV International Amadeus International Piano Competition in the Czech Republic, Brno. The competition is devoted to the genius composer VAMocart, who spoke in the city of Reduta on December 30, 1767, when he had 11 year The competition was attended by pianists from 9 countries.

On November 2, representatives of SIA "FN Serviss" visited us, who organized the fire safety game "Safe Stays Safe". The play was actively attended by pupils from grades 1 to 6, as well as the kindergarten's senior group.

Autumn school excursion for school in grades 1-4, 19.09.2018. Meeting at school 9.00 or at the Schoolchildren's Palace 9.45. We will visit the School Museum, where pupils are kindly invited to take some schoolchildren 's parental or grandparent (textbook, diary, record class, etc.) as a donation to the School Museum. After the museum visit we will go to the adventure park "Tarzāns" in Jurmala.
